Carla V. Garino works with Schultz & Pogue on an Of Counsel basis. Ms. Garino's practice focuses on defending physicians and medical corporations on claims of medical malpractice. Ms. Garino's courtroom experience includes participating in multiple jury trials in the areas of medical malpractice and negligence. She has also had the opportunity to successfully defend a major corporation in a products liability bench trial. Immediately after law school, Ms. Garino served as a law clerk for the Honorable David F. Hamilton on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. Ms. Garino has also worked as a Policy Analyst for the Indiana Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning. Ms. Garino is currently a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association. She also served for a number of years, by invitation, as a Barrister of the Sagamore American Inn of Court.
