Matthew joined Schultz & Pogue as an Associate in May 2018, and practices in the firm's Medical Malpractice Group.  After graduating from law school, he spent his first year practicing general liability insurance defense.  His primary focus now is on the representation of healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and hospitals against malpractice claims.  Matthew has experience in all phases of litigation, including trial.

Matthew is admitted to the bar in Indiana and admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.  He is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, Indianapolis Bar Association, Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana, and Defense Research Institute.  

In law school, Matthew participated in the Staton Moot Court competition and completed over 200 hours of pro bono work.  He also participated in the Program on Law and State Government and clerked for the Indiana Attorney General's Office, where he gained valuable experience in the Civil Litigation section.   

In his free time, Matthew enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife, Jonna, and their son, Finn.
