Mr. Mullen is admitted to the Indiana State Bar and focuses his practice on the defense of health care providers. He graduated from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2011 where he was awarded the Normal Lefstein Award of Excellence for his pro bono efforts. As a student, Mr. Mullen had the opportunity to experience the practice of law from several different perspectives. For instance, he clerked for the Honorable Judge Kincaid in Boone County Superior Court II, completed an externship at the Charles Warren Fairbanks Center for Medical Ethics, and clerked for the Indiana Department of Insurance.
After law school, Mr. Mullen worked at the Indiana Department of Insurance where he represented the Department in enforcement actions brought against insurance agents and companies. He also represented the Commissioner in claims brought against the Indiana Patient’s Compensation Fund in which plaintiffs alleged suffering damages up to the statutory maximum, $1,000,000. In his free time, Mr. Mullen enjoys cooking, running, and spending time with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Warren.
